Hi everyone, I thought this might be a good place to name those Promoters, Djs, Venues, Security... That have ruined your nights one way or the other.

Despite being a 'hall of shame' let's keep things polite and respectful :cool:

By the same token Matt, as a promoter you should be promoting the scene locally, lets have a thread for those clubs, DJs, Venues, security etc that have actually made your night....I have had many nights where a tolerant, flexible and friendly staff at a club have actually significantly added to the night - a friendly smile and an acknowledgment of your appreciation go a long way - the handshake, thumbs up and smile from the DJ, the friendly wink from the security as you're on your way out saying thanks and bar staff that smile, or provide a glass of water without charging you just when you need it - it all goes a long way to a great night out.

A thread to let folks know which clubs give good.....service, can only be a help :thumbsup

Indeed good to see a HALL OF FAME up. Think its a bit silly to have a Hall of Shame where people (with their own issues) can slag off or put down other promoters, clubs etc, we should be supporting any promoter that gets off his arse and works hard to bring the S/W some of the most varied nights + line ups.

It takes alot of hard work + time to secure venues, secure line ups + promote events, ok not always things go to plan but at least the effort is their.

There was a report on the news a few nights ago saying that the police are asking land owners / farmers / locals to be on the lookout for illegal raves being set up 'cos the police don't have the resources to deal with them, so it'll be upto the land owners to secure the sites...things are looking up :lol:
