Cornwall Clubbing Forums

Well as always before a Hard Energy we whack together a little promo mix before the event. Previously it has always been a Hardcore mix but this time seeing as we have Mr Bounce himself, Ultrabeat we thought we would knock together some 'bounciness' to wet peoples appatites.

What music is it? x

Well this is the thing...... some people will call it Bounce, Scouse House, Clubland, Commercial Dance, Bouncy Hard House or even crap.... I just call it 'feel good' music, which will deffo but a smile on your face and put a spring into your step :) :)

Its what they play up north at places such as Maximes or Wigan Pier, was always labelled as Scouse House. All the stuff and more you would expect to find on Clubland Albums, Floorfillas and Ultimate NRG etc.

Scouse house is really big up north, but I think it's died its day down here. The days of hard house etc seem to be long gone

I would actually strongly disagree. Scouse never really had its day down here, show me any night that put their all into a scouse house night with the big name guests from Clubland....NONE! And I am talking about Maximes + Wigan Pier kind of stuff.

Come to think of it name any events in Cornwall that have featured any hard house names, and i dont mean hardstyle DJs that you see on the same line ups down here in the last year.

has it died or is it just no promoter is catering for it????????

The trouble is everyone is growing up and being more sensible these days. So I guess its the next generation we have to be thinking about, and so far from what we hear about them is that alot of them can be abit wild to say the least, just right then for an energetic nigt of bounceiness :) :)

No YOUR the A grade knob. You make these claims that your this and that but all you have done is leave a trail of destruction, hostility and general bad feeling among the many good venues in Cornwall. And you even slate other nights!

no sorry this has really bugged me (ur probably loving that arent you Benny) but on what facts to you base your opinion of me.

Caused + left destruction in many good venues in Cornwall - Wat the hell.

Only venues I have ever used was:

Tall Trees - ran their for 2 years before the owner sold the club - cant see how we left any trouble their.

Pilgrimage - had a phatt night their, but then club closed down due to lack of funds.

Barracuda - had a phatt Xmas blowout their, club was happy

OJs - had a whale of a time their but moved on to bigger pastures.

The Barn - cant see a problem there considering what we have got planned.

So really all your baseing things on is hearsay and gossip I take it.


As for slating other nights, am I not allowed my say when certain DJs had been advertised to play and didnt show letting myself and others down without any explanation? But all that done and dusted. Have actually attended some of the nights recently and loved it.

Lets get one thing clear here..... I am not perfect, I have had my ups + downs. I dont have a nice compnay or club behind me to fund everything, everything I do is mostly out of my own pocket. I dont do things to make money etc, I do it coz I love the music I play and what to have phatt nights down here with some decent guest DJs for as many as possile to have fun at.

If you have a problem with me may I suggest pm-ing me and discussing it through that. Instead of these petty digs at everything I do yeah.

Tall Trees got fed up with your shoddy organisation. OJs WILL NOT have you back. Boat parties you were last minute asking the punters to pay extra for the boat! And you've fallen out with most of the promoters in the region...why I wonder!

The list goes on and I'm sure you don't want anymore aired in public. I didn't want to do this, but after being abusive and denying the facts I think the above is justified.

Ok you keep thinking what you like m8, but at least I dont HIDE behind a fake name, and I bet you dont even go out clubbing do you?. I now feel I know who you are. Now as I said if you got a problem PM me.
